SCAVENGER HUNTS

Find fun
anywhere.

A photo scavenger hunt for the place you’re already standing. A mall, a beach, a thrift store, a square you rolled into this afternoon. Your group shares one phone. Proof is a picture. No app store.

COCOA BEACH · A TASTE

Ron Jon, the easy way

  1. 1The giant surfboard out front, whole group in the shot.
  2. 2Pose like one of the statues. Don’t touch the sand sculpture.
  3. 3The loudest tie-dye you can find. Put it back.
  4. 4Feet in the ocean. The beach is a short walk east.

One phone. A list. A better afternoon.

  1. 01

    Pick the place

A real spot we’ve played, or an Anywhere sampler that works at any mall, beach, or downtown.

  2. 02

    Share a code

Each team is one phone. People join in the browser. Nobody hunts an app store first.

  3. 03

    Proof is a picture

The photo is taken inside the hunt, so it lands on the right line. The day ends with a recap, not a camera roll.

Who it’s for

Groups, mostly. The kind of people who will do a slightly braver thing if it still feels like a good day.

Grandparents and grandkids
Easy, Playful, and Daring are plain words, so a grandparent and a teenager can choose the same list. It’s written for the youngest person playing.
Families
Parents read the lines out loud when the kids can’t yet. Characters, signs, and a photo everyone is in.
RVers
A new town every week, and a reason to get out of the coach before dinner. Monthly is built for you.
Friend groups
Girls’ trips, birthdays, the people who will pose and the people who won’t. The list has room for both.
Church and youth groups
A code in the browser. Nobody spends the first ten minutes installing an app in the parking lot.
Companies
A host screen, a team cap, and a recap that doesn’t announce who lost.

Easy. Playful. Daring.

One list, three rungs. You can reshoot a line higher before the game ends. The board shows that it’s done, not which rung you took.

  1. Easy

    1 point

The comfortable yes. A sign, a color, a thing you were going to look at anyway.

  2. Playful

    2 points

A pose, a silly hat, a question you’re willing to ask.

  3. Daring

    3 points

A stranger, a public pose, or a small purchase. Only if everyone on the phone is in.

Scores stay hidden. When the first team has 10 lines left, every phone gets the Final 10, and those lines score double. That’s what keeps a trailing team from quitting. How a game plays.

Played, then written down

A handful of real places are in the library. The other Anywhere pages are titled and sketched, and they say so.

ON THE ROAD

A new town every week

You got in after lunch. You don’t know the square. A 20-line list is a better first hour than another lap of the campground.

THE DESIGN

Why a hunt feels fair

The rules came from days that went wrong in small ways. The psychology is the name for what those days already taught.

FIRST 1,000

The first 1,000 people on the list get a free Custom hunt.

Hunts open for everyone after private tests. Leave your email and you’re in line. No app to install.
